boardman 'old english' porringer

offered for sale is this very nice bossed bowl porringer with 'old english' style handle.  it is unmarked, however, positively a product of thomas d. boardman of hartford, connecticut circa 1830.  it is nicely finished and features incised lines on the bottom and on the outer lower body.  the handle is 'burnt on' or cast to the body, leaving a linen mark inside.  the 3 1/2" porringer is in excellent condition.
