eben smith flagon

offered for sale is this handsome flagon made by eben smith beverly, massachusetts 1814 to 1856.  this 10 3/4" tall communion piece is of all cast construction.  this form with the broken 'c' handle and plain knob finial is a simple but pleasing design.  it is marked inside "e. smith" and in very good condition.
