awesome 16 1/2" duncumb dish

I am pleased to offer this exceptional example of flatware by the bewdley, England maker stynt duncumb.  he worked from 1745 to 1767.  this flat rim dish is 16 1/2" in diameter and has nine rows of precision hammer marks on its underside booge.  the makers marks are nicely struck to the back of the rim as well as his crowned 'x' quality mark, a 'london' cartouche and three of his hallmarks.  the dish is in excellent condition.
