eighteenth century semper eadam tankard

i am pleased to offer this very fine quart boston tankard, circa 1750. it is unmarked but identical to examples marked ‘semper eadam’ minus the finial. some later examples have the letters ‘I.c’ cast into the handle. these tankards are very rare, especially in the fine condition as this one. note the unique style of the handle and attractive scroll thumbpiece.
