isreal trask coffeepot

this well designed piece was made by isreal trask of beverly, massachusettes between 1807 and 1856. it is decorated with ribs and ‘bright cut’ engraving as well as turned designs. it stands 11 1/2” tall. the wood finial is original with restored paint. there is some professional restoration at the handle terminals and hinge. the bottom is marked “i. trask.” (tp 15)
